Police highway patrol car mounted cameras scan number plates for potential infringements against the vehicle rego like expiry, etc.
Currently they need to pull vehicle over and manually run plates through computer system or do on the fly.
By adding all car shapes (even by make and model) into memory through one-shot learning, this would combine the above with offenders driving cars that do not match the number plates by highlighting expected shape & features mis-match. Ie. Stolen / re-birthed vehicles.
For example, wrong plates on a fully sick gemini taken from a ute. A simple yet effective task for a Prophesee type neuromorphic event based camera.
