Why would Samsung want to hide the fact that they are using Akida when they don't hide the fact that they are using Arm?

I think the secrecy up to now has been all about protecting BrainChip. It would be catastrophic for a major company say that they are going to use us, and then 6 months later say that is not progressing.

Doz, everyone knows Akida is out there. I doubt Samsung cares if their competitors see that Samsung has a license with us or not.

On a more positive note, I really, really hope a phone manufacturer picks us up soon as there are so many phone use-cases that can be solved with SNN. e.g.
Audio clarity,
camera clarity,
data clarity
phone personification
phone personalization
phone security
phone privacy

These are all smartphone issues, and the SNN models will have all been worked on already.
ie they will get all this with akida IP inside straight away, and yuou don't need the less efficient ethos-u85 CNN stuff.
