“In manufacturing, you’re pulling those models all the way to robots,” Crawford said. “It’s not the really big models that are running on these GPUs; it’s much smaller models. I think the edge-to-cloud dynamic is definitely one piece that will make others shine and give Nvidia a little bit of pressure.”

Edge Impulse provides Brainchip the opportunity to show what it can do with Nvidia Tao.
The recent paper showing that combining AKD1000 with Nvidia GPU can reduce power consumption to 25% of Nvidia’s GPU running alone while reducing latency for identifying ships at sea evidences how AKIDA can fit into the opportunity the Edge presents without disrupting Nvidia.

Seems Elon Musk will be needing zillions of Brainchip A- KID-A chips for his new grand-a super computer. A 25% energy reduction per NVIDIA GPU will send Brainchip over the setting HEY MERCEDES moon once and for all.
