Yeah, but I think the idea that a prospective client will go off to Renesas or MegaChips to have them design and manufacture a bespoke chip isn't the right approach.
Hard to see any company board ticking that off.
Only a company the size of Apple would take that risk, but then they would probably try to create their own neuromorphic design instead.
It might mean that Brainchip should pay for the prospective company's data, so that we own it, so that we can use the data for the design of any of that comnpaniy's competitors. This would cut the cost for the first company, we would have at least one client, and the potential to attract more.
