After the non event CES turned out to be for BRN last year, I was not really expecting anything that exciting this year, of course good news on progress is always very welcome, nonetheless after the MicroChip and Unigen reveals just ahead of CES, I wasn't expecting a great deal.

I have always felt that BRNs' relationship with Tata would be a long term large scale winner, so was looking forward to see what BRN would be demonstrating with Tata Elxsi at CES, as well as the demo with MicroChip.

However on day one of CES we now know that OnSemi are working with BRN, OnSemi are major players (and have relationships with some of the biggest companies in the tech business)and their relationship with BRN brings great kudos, but we also hear that Infineon are interested in Akida as well and also looking at Akida (Infineon are bigger than OnSemi in terms of sales); so I am quite chuffed about all this and regardless of the SP, I would say that today has been a good day.
