I became aware of this company, what 7 years ago and the SP was 18 cents, bought in, went through a lot of pain as it sat down around 3-4 cents, then skyrocketed up. The company basically had to reinvent itself (security in gaming tables anyone?) with an aim to be the ARM of AI.
Sold out in the 60s, happy to make a couple of bags. Still keenly following the company's progress.
All this talk of AKIDA being deployed in space tech etc is fine, it's excellent validation of the technology - but BRN's revenue model doesn't thrive on small scale deployments of the tech. It's based on AKIDA chips being deployed in every mobile device, every home hub, every electric car, every security camera, every automated supermarket till etc etc as an edge AI processor, much like ARM licensed SOCs are pretty much in every smart phone and smart device.
Where is the pathway to that? A few hundred satellites here or there, whilst exciting, isn't going to cut it.
And BRN is also providing an engineering design capability to help customers integrate AKIDA into their technology - if that was happening, there would be a lot more revenue in consulting fees.
