Great post! Size, weight and power, are huge in Space... Along with autonomous ML based on-board near real-time decision making and processing.
A couple of additional concerns are tied into sustainment across the projected mission lifecycle and hopefully the chance for functionality and utility that may extend beyond that primary window. The fact that space so often involves years of conceptualization and prep, that is then followed by frustrating launch complications and delays can mean that half or more of the planned lifetime is wasted prior to initial operations. So there has to be trust in the product/component and as importantly, faith, backed up by fact, that a vanishing vendor curtailment of support situation carries a very low risk score. Bottom line, BrainChip would benefit significantly if the "Bigs" were to start acquiring stock... aka skin in the game, in addition to considering the purchase and incorporation of components and IP.
