I wouldn't be taking the departure of key executives from BRN as necessarily a sign of "rats deserting the sinking ship."
In the absence of other hard evidence it's more likely something else.
People move on for a wide variety of reasons.

In the fast moving tech space and in silicon valley - good people get poached i.e paid more money.
And paying more money (either cash or shares) seems to upset people here.

Can't have it both ways: being concerned when key executives leave while at the same time getting pissed when you see them being paid extraordinary remuneration.

Maybe you can have it both ways - that's called delusion.
