BRN are absolutely not 5 years ahead of the competition IMO.
4 years ago they were '3 years ahead', and the gap has been closing since IMO.
Here's an example: I emailed Unigen requesting a quote for a Cupcake server with Akida - you can currently select 5 other AI modules (pic below), yet Akida is not available to order via the order form (I did eventually receive a response from Unigen, but it didn't answer my general query).
You can select Hailo-8 (1 or 2), whom claim to be 'the world's best performing AID processor for edge devices':

So no, I highly doubt that Akida is 5 years ahead of the competition. The revenue figures tell a very different story.
