    The statement in BRN's post...

"BRN is the new kid on the block, and conservative minds still need to grow confidence in it" really says it all.

Noting that this is a statement made by an officer of the company and no doubt reflects the frustrations being felt internally amongst the BRN team in trying to get the horse to drink. Nothing wrong with the technology - it's the natural risk adverse conservationism of many large companies.

When Hybrid Corn was introduced to American Corn Farmers in the 1940's, despite improving yields by +25% with no down-sides, it took 14 years for all corn farmers to adopt it - why?.

This is a classic diffusion of innovation "crossing the chasm" problem (Geoffrey Moore published in 1991).
The vast majority of potential users won't adopt a new technology, they wait to see the early adopters using it first.

Early adopters: are a forward-thinking group and are often highly respected and opinion leaders. Their endorsement of an innovation plays a key role in what is known as “crossing the chasm” which is when the adoption of an innovation crosses the gap between the trend setters and the rest of the potential users. What makes them different is they are the first to understand the true value of the innovation AND are willing to take the risk because the potential rewards to them are large.

For those of you unfamiliar with this concept, it is explained simply here https://jwpm.com.au/reference/product-lifecycle-and-the-diffusion-of-innovation

Remember it was Steve Jobs who saw the potential of the new microprocessors and pioneered Personal Computing - he was the Early Adopter.
The Tech Giants of the time (like IBM) only invested when Apple blazed the trail.

The really exciting thing is that quite possibly there is a couple of teenage nerds working in a garage somewhere right now fiddling with some Akida chips and a soldering iron that might be about to launch the next gob-smacking paradigm shifting innovation - that will change the world. Seemingly, it will come from nowhere.

The bad news is many investors posting here on this forum want them to make their big announcement TODAY. Not gonna happen.

    IMHO
