i strongly understand your frustrations and actually many of us feel that way but a matter of fact is
It always takes time for things to materialised.
We all are advocating another way than just selling an ip, do we realised it cost us over 14 million to tape out akida 1000.
Regarding Sean and his wisdom yes we cannot sell a single IP but we moved ahead a lot. Can you believe we spend 14 million dollar on a product for which we were not having any supporting softwares and that is a reason even after 4 years we are unable to sell the product.
akida 1500 refrence chip costs us almost nothing.
Market is not what is projected or what we assume, market needs its own solutions and working out the same in limited means is a chellenge.
Regarding SP, to me it is a good reflection of what is projected to the market. For last 2-3 years there is no projection, no uproar, no commentry, no revenue that is what we will get.
Regarding NDAs
it is a trade norm and every company have to follow it. If you donot want to follow the norm, then noone is ready to entertain you.
I believe IP strategy will work for a company like brainchip
1. We are the best technology in our own field.
2. We have budgetary constraints of a start up.
3. Most of our holders are retail holders and even a many of them are day traders only. That means expecting too much from them is a big task as well.
4. Our utilisation is there in a lot of ways where selling one part of solution will be wastage of resources.
In future I can vision every sensor have its own processor and we will get quite a few solutions without the need of a CPU at all.
End of the day we can win or lose but patience will always persist.

situations but to enjoy the same we have to adopt ourselves to the situations.
