yes indeed well aware…
this is the exact market brainchip is trying to sell into they just haven’t convinced them YET.
the big wigs seem to be punching on using other NN to complete the tasks licensing from ARM
brainchiips job is to convince them they need to be using akida based SNN…
everytime a large company produces a chip like the A18 there has clearly been a failure of brainchip to sell to Apple…
it’s a great sign that they are promoting the use of NN and the benifits of security, on chip AI etc etc etc… maybe future apple products will move to akida based SNN… maybe not.
as the famous FF said recently the AGM was full of a room of old men hoping they’ve bought the next Apple…
Apple today confirming they can do a SOTA “neural engine” without needing a license from brainchip.
I would expect Apple have already planned the next few years chips and we don’t have license… so maybe 2030 for Apple to sign up…. Maybe gen 6 by then HAHA
