This project aims to revolutionize the production of renewable energy through the integration of advanced technologies of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and neuromorphic computing.Today, the reduction of non-renewable energy sources such as oil, natural gas and coal is a major global concern, and hydrogen can be a solution. It is a fuel that does not exist in nature as a single element, easily obtained from water, non-toxic and with a high energy content per unit mass, which can be used in various industrial processes. It can replace hydrocarbons for electricity generation, be transported from the existing infrastructure with minimal changes or stored in fuel cells to balance energy from renewable sources.Recently, Artificial Intelligence has become crucial in the management and optimization of green hydrogen production. However, the use of AI in highly critical energy processes and plants presents challenges, since it often operates in a "black box" way, asking for greater transparency and explanation to involve and convince the various stakeholders to use it.ARHYOSA™ aims to support OEM manufacturers (Original Equipment Manufacturers) involved in the construction of machinery and infrastructures in the green hydrogen production sector, the use of advanced AI algorithms directly in green plants, while promoting the experimentation of new plant service business models or Equipment as a Service (EaaS).The ARHYOSA™ platform represents an innovative solution that combines MYW patents in the fields of EDGEAI and GENAI for EaaS with the specific needs of Ansaldo Green Tech SPA, a spin-off of Ansaldo Energia founded in 2021, which aims to revolutionize energy production through new generation plants with zero impact on the environment. ARHYOSA™ is distinguished by an innovative method that integrates advanced neuromorphic computing techniques directly integrable at the edge of plants and machinery (EDGEAI) with powerful GPT (Generative, Pre-trained, Transformative) techniques on the cloud to generate synthetic series of data to train the EDGEAI with increasingly updated and relevant knowledge.The ARHYOSA™ platform is not only limited to the technological aspect but is also distinguished by the approach to transparency and security, guaranteeing an Explainable (Explainable AI, XAI), reliable (Trustworthy AI) and secure in line with the new EU AI ACT and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) community guidelines, offering a significant competitive advantage in the nascent Green Hydrogen Economy in our country.”
