From down under to the skies above, Advanced Navigation launches into #space! A key component of Space Machines Company’s Orbital Service Vehicle named #Optimus, our digital fibre-optic gyroscope, the #Boreas X90, took off on SpaceX's Transporter 10 rideshare launch earlier this week. ️ Optimus will enhance the operational life of crucial space infrastructure and satellites by providing repair, refuelling and upgrade services directly in orbit. Think of it as #RoadSideAssistance in space! Now in low Earth Orbit, Boreas X90 will optimise the vehicle’s manoeuvres, providing precise orientation and positioning for satellite docking and ‘orbital jumps’. Congratulations to the entire team at Space Machines Company, and thank you to the Australian Space Agency for supporting us in this new era of space exploration.
