Wave 3 is the most explosive of the waves in the Elliott system, hence why folks are hunting for them. It’s where investors want to be locked in for the ride.
It’s a fairly complex system that requires a lot of time spent learning and configuring but fantastic if you’re a TA enthusiast.
Where as MACD is a momentum indicator to be used in combination with other indicators. I swear by it for my system of trading and it’s really easy to understand for anyone learning.
