One of the most powerful indicators in Technical Analysis is when the MACD Line is about to cross the Signal Line but reverses & carries on its original path as it did on the Ganfeng plot in early February, followed by AGY.
AGY looked like it was about to cross, not nearly as close but with the same result.
While it's correct that TA uses past data & is based on history there are windows into the future as to what MAY happen next & those with a high appetite for risk (Slick et al) & the discipline to act accordingly if wrong will anticipate these signals and take a position.
