I was pondering the ol' divergence-convergence behaviour whilst observing the chart at various timeframes.

The chart below is a comparo of a few suspects going back to what I consider to be one of the key no-brainer buying opportunities, prior to the one we had earlier this year. The depressed pricing in the macro drama of early 2020.
There are some big dogs in that chart, and also the LIT ETF for those interested,

Anyway, what do we see?

IMO:
1/ AGY has done alright, relatively, over that period, for anyone who took the opportunity to pick up the value on offer at that time.
2/ The fluctuations have been significant, imo, with plenty of money to be made overall, or even along the way for the traders out there.
4/ The clear anomaly is PLS, over the past 18 months or so.... perhaps the BEOT, who have now shorted PLS to the tune of over 20% or 600 million shares (!!!) are anticipating a convergence, at least partially, and acting accordingly...?

Thoughts?




ps. I expect the next big push to see us again outperform many in the sector, especially as a few more critical catalysts occur that enable the expansion. IMO we'll diverge from "the pack" as the wave rises again. When/how that unfolds, we will have to wait and see!
