yeah I'd expect the next announcement to be a positive step, even if it takes a few more weeks. I doubt Jerko wants to give the shorts anything at this stage.
My hunch - I'm not expecting much action in early June - but keep an eye on trading volume as the month goes on. Shorts may want to close out more positions before EOFY.
