But I’m such a conservative timid-boots in so many ways, and seeing as any thought of joining you in hoping for a special dividend makes me quake in them (the boots) I will hold out on that wish …

- It’s simply due to looking back over the magnitude of dividend largesse here back in earlier of days - 2012 and 2013 when NRW paid 31c in dividends across two years, and knowing NRW had seriously empty pockets during the mining crash and after, and being anxious about current times in general.​

Parma I know NRW is a vastly different - remade phoenix of a company these days, and that those hard times likely helped turn Jules into the scrupulously debt-conscious leader that he is.….
… and led to the company diversification
… and the fact we had $247m cash at EOFY plus a whole lot of other positive information given in that July update..

So there is likely no reason for me to feel aprehensive … although if there are big institutional shareholders also pushing for a special dividend they may abandon us once they get it - especially given the worrisome times?

I dunno. I highlighted all those good reasons (just some of them) to be confident, and it’s brightened up a rather grey day here : )
