The KCGM Growth Project continues to progress with teams both on and offsite going full steam ahead on this EPC project to double the capacity of Northern Star’s Fimiston Processing Plant. Engineering on Stage 1 is currently 50% complete with a dedicated team of over 120 Engineers and Designers continuing to finalise and deliver the engineering. On the Procurement front a similarly committed team has placed over $150M of orders for permanent materials, equipment and subcontracted services. Onsite, major milestones have been achieved, including the establishment and activation of the main site facilities, along with the completion of the first substantial pour for the Primary Crushing Vault. Well done to all of those who have been involved in the project so far and we look forward to keeping you updated as the project progress.
