The mistake we make is thinking that EV manufacturers are super smart. How much money did Tesla pour into Maxwell? How much money did Mercedes pour into Sila?
After all this time and no real result, it could be ‘once bitten, twice shy.’
Also, don’t discount the fact that we’re a minnow and virtually powerless until the first deal is signed. Remember the sulking arrogance of Philips who were more than happy to cut off their nose to spite their face.
Having said that, if what we are told regarding our progress is 100% true, then eventually, our partners will have no option but to sign.
