Testing is the major hold up it takes time and it has been underway for awhile now, have a look at progress over last few years they have increased density and cycle life dramatically and now in the sweet spot for consumables and devices.

Right now they are running testing with a major EV company in Europe on a full scale anode and talking about being in a future design freeze for an EV company anode.

They also had a court case hanging over their heads which wouldn’t bode well for anyone looking to take a stake, that is now over.

If results are as positive as we are led to believe then we should have first sniff of an equity stake or grants in the near term (1-6 months) to support scale up from pilot plant size to small production scale size, if that doesn’t happen then agree we are all probably chasing a dream that won’t happen.

My own timeframes are possibly longer then yours for when this will hit market at scale.

I hope to see it playing out something like below-

Prove scale in pilot plant is possible for 20,000L PA (happening now)

Testing to prove it matches lab scale batches and intergrated into an anode for testing (happening now)

Small initial equity stake or grants given (1-6 months)

Scale out to small production size plant 80,000L (6-12 months)

Anteotech’s own propriety high silicon anode design reaches milestones required for EV, mass storage etc (6-24months)

Final prototypes produced at larger scale with customer anode designs including anteo x integration ready for mass production (12-24 months)

Larger equity stake and/or grants given or supply/licence deals and/or takeover offer/s for Anteo X (12-24 months)

Full scale up for mass production of Anteo X (possibly offshore) (12-36 months)

Full production ready in house Anode design with licensing deals and/or takeover offer/s for entire battery IP suite (12-48 months)

Buy a much larger boat (the COVID boat is now getting a few years old) and spend much more time at sea…(24-48 months depending on the size of the boat)

With any luck life science also gains some traction as well and can add all the extras to above new boat order.
