Personally im fine with sharing a % of royalties its much better than 100% of nothing or 100% of 1/3 of the market in 10 years time. First mover advantage is where this is at im my opinion.

The bit i disagree with in your thesis ia FB & Co are green. Im more worried about the outcome for small holders than I am for Fred as I dont see Fred letting go of control and letting EM get the better end of him.

Im not saying impossible just very very highly unlikely.
