The last seven days have had (or are scheduled today to have) 33 barge carrier shipping movements. With the possibility of one or two more to be added later tonight.

I've added up daily barge carrier movements (hopefully correctly) for the four weeks before that. Barge carrier weekly movements for those weeks were (Thursday - Wednesday):
15 (31st-5th June),
23 (May 23rd-30th),
25 (May 16th-22nd) and
17 (May 9th-15th) barge carrier movements.

I'm not sure if barge carrier movements are a good proxy for loading rate, but I thought that might possibly be the case and there does seem to be a correlation with @Arrow666 's tables of shipping movements and loading days.

If so, at 33 barge carrier shipping movements this last seven days, we may have got over the problems and ramped up a bit more. The last week has had the highest number of barge carrier movements in one day and the longest consecutive streak of barge numbers of 5 or more a day (including a 6 and a 7).

Any thoughts on that from anyone who knows the operation in more detail?
