I would suggest (IMHO) that a lot of the volume in share volume is turnover by day traders. As an example, when the price was hovering around the 1.90, 2.0, 2.1 mark I was trading on the pips .Have a sell order in at 2.1 and pick them up at 2.0 or 1.9 again. A lazy $1000to $2000 less commission on 1Million share trades. Do a couple of those and you reduce the overall cost price of your holding.

I then look at resistance points e.g. 2.5and put in sell order when the price is around 2.1.-2.2.Your usually fairly close to the front of the queue when it comes to those at 2.5 being chomped off when the price rises. Again, when it happens, buy back in 2.4 or 2.3.

I was caught out with the progression of the price towards 3.0, where I had a sell order for 3.0. Frantically when I came home from the gym and saw it had been knocked out, I bought back in at 2.9/3.0.Still a $450 profit.

Hence my opinion, that a lot of the volume is day traders.

Now that I’m ahead by a multiple of one with MMI, I'm more relaxed and just ride the wave. On the side I’m looking for other companies where I can trade the pips and built up my holdings.

This is the fun of the stock market compared to the addiction of casinos.
