After some rough calculations, it seems MMI receives about 24-26% of the Australia Bauxite CIF Price per tonne. While my estimates might be slightly off due to using MMI's graph and potential FX fluctuations, the figures seemed consistent across the five quarterlies I reviewed.


Assuming MMI receives an average of $62 USD per WMT next quarter, with a conversion rate of $0.67 USD to AUD, this amounts to approximately $93 AUD. Applying a 25% discount, the expected CIF price would be around $69.70 AUD. Although these are rough averages, the 25% discount seems accurate, and we’ll need to cross-check with the actual realized price next quarter.
