I highlighted this section of the commercialization milestone announcement as I believe it's importance cannot be understated.
Can anyone ever remember a time we failed to deliver 'technically' ? or failed to surpass the customers technical requirements?

I don't remember it ever happening. When a customer has asked us to deliver a solution for them, I don't remember a time when we just met their requirements, we've always exceeded them. Imagine how a customer must react when we tell them we can make the battery cheaper and give you more range? even an extra 10% on 500kms is a very big bonus (AABC presentation).

I dare say, I expect EV1 to be more than impressed with the anodes we've supplied them. The only issue I could foresee is manufacturing defects as a result of the third party but let's hope the third party battery company is no Operon ( our Spanish Covid test trip manufacturer for those new to ADO )
