Where it raises my hackles is when they get narky when other, not so optimistic posters, raise very valid issues.
And on this and many other forums this behavior is rampant. ADO, BEZ , ASO and many more form the cohort.
What is it that makes people ONLY want positive reinforcement, they seemingly don't wish to be alerted of facts that are worth of consideration, at least.
It's sort of like when a Newby wanders into a bar area in Asia. All of a sudden they totally believe they are God's gift to women and don't you dare try to tell them they're suckers!

I just see them as the thumbs up brigade, they constantly need their 'own opinion' reinforced to carry on regardless because they can NEVER be wrong. I'd rather one honest 'negative fact' than 100 positive opinions. It must be nice though to only smell the roses, when the weeds flourish under them?

Hotcopper after all is just social media filled with opinion with a slant toward stocks? I bet half the people subscribed don't even own stocks nor understand anything about them? And that's a den for people to be taken advantage of.
