Over supply of Lithium expected to last till 2028 and governments around the world realizing that what will they do if a high rise car park in the middle of a major city full of EVs catches fire and you have 200+ Lithium batteries in thermal runway. Not only will it take days to put out but will melt the car park and all the time emitting highly toxic fumes. When this happens and it will every building in a 2km radius will have to be evacuated.
Insurance companies are already tightening up on it.
New question your asked when you get home insurance now is do you have a solar battery and do you have an EV parked on the premises.
Lithium will rebound but no where near the highs of the last few years and not for some time.
