I am seeing exceptional export throughout (and not only wheat) in all of the East Coast terminals, unprecedented at this time of year since at least last ten years . Not sure how Geelong is going.
Also note that SA (Adelaide) are really struggling - as not Graincorp the effect will mean higher prices for growers that have surplus - thats a little simplistic - however a very experienced player in the grain market, many years ago, told me that one of the three regions will suffer some form of drought conditions.
I think we all know, that the groundwater levels in NSW an VIC are decent - however my gauge is the amount of fertilizers coming in to the ports, let's face it, the growers know best, and this has been on a mega level in Newcastle, Port Kembla and Geelong.
So there's Ports (pompey) simple analysis - very bullish on GNC
