MB have made it abundantly clear they wish to develop in house technology solutions where they can. However, no matter how hard they try they will need external IP due to the extensive patent portfolios that BRN and others have developed. I have no doubt that MB will license Brainchip IP eventually given our commercial availability(vs Lohi), performance comparisons and ongoing research support we have provided. They have Qualcomm(Snapdragon) and all over them telling them their solutions are sufficient but clearly they are committed to neuromorphic processing as the required long term answer for power efficient EV autonomous driving solutions.
These recent deals show for extreme edge devices ie space, defence and autonomous vehicles the market has made its decision that SNNs are the way forward IMO.
