i donot know why everyone is talking about merc only. As far as automobiles are concerned chinese companies are moving fast ahead of everyone. Look at what is happening to VW group, they are in more trouble than their diesel gate saga.
One thing for sure no one hide a rising sun. If we are good enough then everyone will need us.
look at Boston dynamics they are partnering with toyota.
