On this topic I'd like to merely share my observations and conclusion(possibly misguided) from reading and watching posts on LinkedIn and X over the last few years(at least 3 ie). In my opinion although we have made great cases to many auto OEMs Qualcomms Snapdragon is still the preferred supplier because until the EV becomes more mainstream the energy efficiency factor is not yet enough for manufacturers to change course. Now this may change overtime and OEMs still have us on their watch list but I suspect this is what is going on. Hence our focus seems to have shifted slightly to the gesture recognition and airbag safety applications where our on chip learning can come to the fore and make OEMs able to personalise this function more efficiently in their products. So these observations can help us to understand the slowness in our progress but at the same time allow management to remain confident that a break through will eventually occur.
