Ambiq is an established company using ARM technology.
They are not using an NPU in this product. They are part of the Von Neumann technology space which Brainchip is seeking to disrupt with an entirely new paradigm in compute technology.
ARM has stated that adding AKIDA to their product range makes their solutions the most powerful on the market.
The AKIDA NEXA glasses are a product that could not exist relying upon Von Neumann compute. AKIDA is the enabler of this medical technology. The Apollo510 could not be substituted.
Whereas the AKiDA technology could be used to replace the Apollo510MCU and it could throw in SSM so meaningful interaction between the human and the device could take place.
