No actually the link you provided is what Intel has been saying since 2023 at least about Loihi.
What one needs to do is open up the 2024 Annual Report which is reached via your link.
In the report when addressing the Edge it refers not to Loihi but to the Gaudi range which is not playing the same game as AKIDA and where they announce their future game changing Panther Lake chip coming out in 2026.
When you explore Panther Lake it is a CPU GPU powered chip with not a neuron in sight.
There are multiple reports about Panther Lake that appear via a Google search. Interestingly the first version was to include graphics cards but this has been deferred to the second version apparently but either way there is no way that Intel Loihi 2 or 3 will be coming out in 2026 if one accepts what the new CEO at Intel states about their roadmap in the 2024 Annual Report.
Looks like we will all have to wait until at least 2027 before Brainchip and its commercialised and being adopted AKIDA technology is blown away by Intel.
