You are extremely good at dictating what others can and cannot say. I suppose that comes from growing up as an American ruler of the free World.
The answer you seek is to be found in what is discussed here constantly which is the failure of our American over lords to understand the importance of ASX price sensitive announcements. Typical American arrogance personified by your President.
As quaint as it might be you need to read the Australian ASX Continuous Disclosure Rules which require ASX Listed companies to formerly announce on the ASX anything that is material and could add to or subtract from the value of a company.
Once announced on the ASX the company then has an obligation to announce any material change to what they have announced.
Australian investors know about these Rules and the significance of ASX announcements to determining a companies value and its accountability to shareholders.
Our American over lords have publicly stated that they will announce on the ASX when they have something material to announce.
So an Australian investor understanding the ASX Rules and by reason of this statement and the absence of ASX announcements concludes NOTHING MATERIAL IS HAPPENING and moves on.
It is just that simple.
If our American over lords want to see the share price on the ASX reflect the true value of the technology and the market potential they need to start making ASX price sensitive announcements like other Australian technology companies.
By the way the financial industry in Australia also knows about these Rules and has heard what our American over lords have said and are acting accordingly believing that if Brainchip has not announced SOMETHING say ONSOR on the ASX then it is not material.
It is a great pity that you do not have the capacity to understand our primitive ways here in darkest Australia but I am surprised that you did not pick up that the source of the claim that Brainchip was undervalued because of not being listed in the USA actually came from our American over lords in a surprise ASX announcement about redomiciling to the USA.
This ASX announcement not only crashed the price but said to all potential investors that there was no chance of making money investing in Brainchip unless it gets off the ASX and moves to the USA.
Hearing this from our American over lords an Australian investor would likely think well if shareholders vote down a move then the share price ain’t going anywhere fast I will wait and see.
All this before we get to how well received this approach by our American over lords is by those who like to invest short on companies, but that is an entirely different story.
And as for your Grok hypotheticals I suggest you try thinking for yourself or learn how to ask the correct questions. I suspect that might not be possible because you cannot see the problem with your two self defeating ideas:
‘Intel could be working secretly on Loihi and be about to release it on the market,
and the whole industry knows,
it that is why Brainchip’s price is in the toilet.’
Brainchip is listed on the ASX the market for its shares is made by Australian investors. Your above proposition means that all Australian investors know about Intel’s best kept secret and hence are not investing in Brainchip and yet not one technology writer here or in the USA has heard this story and broken the news.
As we say here you are yanking our chain with that one.
