    This work brings together:
    o   Event Cameras
    o   Crafted and highly accurate Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs)
    o   Fuzzy AI for transparent, explainable inference
    o   Low-SWaP neuromorphic hardware for interplanetary missions

    With no GPS and limited compute resources on Mars, our system enables real-time, on-board velocity estimation for NASA's upcoming Mars helicopter class—beyond Ingenuity.

    This is what adaptive autonomy looks like: biologically inspired, energy efficient, unconventional computing, and semantically explainable AI for space exploration.
