I think the biggest limiting factor for brainchip is a no for Chinese money. I am not for or against the same, but matter of fact it is killing competition and we are playing into hands of US only.
Just thinking why we have anti racist laws and gender equality laws if they are not good for over development of society.
Too much dependency on US is increasing our costs and results are too slow. With a competitive approach we may put up pressure on US companies to sign a deal before the competitor signs, but right now there is no competition at all and we are surviving for survival.
