The USA is still the largest market and the USA passed legislation in the later half of 2020 that prohibited the export to China of advanced technology which by definition covered AKIDA. Since that time the controls on exporting have become even more strict.
These restrictions have also made it easier for Brainchip to access the US and EU space and defence markets as Chinese semiconductor technologies have been restricted from being adopted in these markets for security reasons.
It is easy to throw out Brainchip should be in China however not being in China and China not being able to access AKIDA has also no doubt allowed Brainchip to be successful in India as it has the same issues with China that the US and EU does and India is a huge market.
The opportunity for Brainchip and Onsor to penetrate the Indian market with NEXA looks very exciting.
