Brainchip announces integration into
Quantum Ventura's technology offering, which leverages the Akida processor to provide cybersecurity protection for Wi-Fi access, home routers, small business routers, and other network access devices. State-of-the-art neuromorphic processing is designed to facilitate on-chip learning for network-specific attack detection. Akida's small form factor consumes several times less power than a graphics processor.
Akida's neural processor and AI IP can find unknown, repeating patterns in large amounts of noisy data. Once Akida has learned what normal network traffic patterns look like, it can detect malware, attack signatures, and other types of malicious activity. Due to Akida's ability to learn securely on-device, without the need for retraining in the cloud, it can quickly learn new attack patterns.
