Either way, AGY isn't going to be producing for years even in miraculous market conditions and with all the luck shareholders may want for the company's ability to get a plant to work, so hoping for short term increases in the lithium price which at best will be modest and below the cost of production of the 2,000TPA which doesn't work anyway, is pointless.

But the bottom line in the near term is that while people can pay lip services to whatever narrative they want you or themselves to believe, the futures tell us what people actually think, and they're predicting further drops.

Most likely, we're going to see prices fall a bit more and be low this year.
