You'd need rocks in your head to buy this trash. The low volume at this stage is exactly what you'd expect. Management can't sell because it would look bad. Once in a blue moon they make a token purchase to keep up appearances and the holders cheer. Anyone who still hopes is the type of person who will be blind until the company folds and even then they'll make excuses and say 'well, it was just bad luck and worth a try' or 'I paid what to me was a lot of money but after losing 95% of its value the holding is of market sale price so selling is irrelevant".
A few may double down but mostly they will increase their holding relative to the number of shares they hold rather than the original price they paid, which now equates to a trivial purchase. Most people aren't stupid enough to throw that much good money after bad.
If you were going to wake up and sell you would have by now. If you haven't yet woken up you're probably incapable.
Few newcomers with fresh eyes would see anything other than the old burned out dumpster fire it is.
A few folks who can't be bothered looking into it properly will no doubt buy up if the lithium price recovers, thinking it may spring back to life with higher lithium prices, ignorant of the fact that the company can't produce regardless of the lithium price. Of course, higher lithium prices could boost the price in the short term, perhaps from, say, 0.7c to back up to around where it is now depending on timing, before the overall issues continue dragging it down.
The lithium price is showing signs of possibly hitting its bottom, and the price is about as low as we might expect to see. A rally is probably unlikely in the short term but some will be desperate enough to see positives that they'll get excited about the cessation of the downtrend.
Insiders buying? For what purpose? Hey, if you think the value is good, back up the truck and buy up big just like gcar continues doing, and reap the same rewards his wisdom has brought him.
I'm not sure this is the best example I have ever seen of a falling knife I would expect to cut the hands of those who tried to catch it, but it's a contender.
