Very similar, with some minor differences in the spiral and magnetic separation steps. The exact process flow is somewhat dependent on target products and company strategy - the above looks like Sheffield Resources' process, which is targeting a relatively clean zircon concentrate and the premium it would carry without going full hog investing in an MSP (Mineral Separation Plant) to produce clean zircon.

The first image below is probably a better baseline reference for Muckanippie, with an additional Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separation (WHIMS) circuit tacked on at the end. This would separate the HMC into Magnetic (Ilmenite/Psuedo Rutile) and Non-Magnetic (Rutile/Anatase) concentrates. Both could either be sold to customers as concentrate or be further separated into individual products by PTR through dry processing at a Mineral Separation Plant (MSP).

Building an MSP adds to project capex, so it could always be something that is constructed a few years into the mine life once cash is flowing. Getting a government grant to build an MSP in Whyalla would be a strategy worth pursuing, particularly if there is some relief also given to power costs. For what it's worth, both Tronox and Iluka have MSPs with available capacity to take feed from a mine at Muckanippie.. Tronox has MSPs in Broken Hill NSW and WA. Iluka has an active MSP in WA and an idled one in Hamilton VIC.
