At times she gets a bit evangelical (sharing chickens and eggs?) and her valuation of gold $35k per ounce she's been saying that for a very long time now...it's a narrative and I'm not always clear what the methodology is to reach that particular valuation.... But this Eurodollars guy Jeff Snider is really good. Because financial markets are key and there's starting to be a liquidity crisis and it's starting in China and radiating out. Although there are some sectors still experiencing inflation, when deflation really hits we're going to be praying for inflation again. Housing market cannot be sustained when people need to borrow and cannot, or are losing jobs and not replacing them with a new one. I'm seeing signs of a serious pull back in regional Victoria where they're starting to slash prices of blocks of land and land developers are looking stranded. Early days but we seem to have reached a turning point on the Baltic Dry Index and key manufacturing indices in China; below 50 and look out.... JIMO. Outlook for gold and silver looking pretty substantial. BGD starting to move...
