So I was looking at the Velo3D deal and while it's great, it is being delayed a bit due to the qualification process. Same happened with ADDMAN for the first deal. Then I got thinking why are we lagging due to the qualification process and not getting on the front foot? Then I remembered we already are, we have sent powder to companies already, through the Castheon research and all the big names involved with us there. I'm genuinely excited about the idea of samples being tested by companies, that will likely speed up the process. How many companies are in the background testing our product we don't know about. Hank made it clear he doesn't do MOU's, he does deals.

Additionally, their second advanced gas atomizer is on track to be commissioned by June 2025, boosting their production capacity. This is a massive deal, and here’s why I think it’s a game-changer for Amaero and its investors.

This move solidifies Amaero’s strategic position in high-growth industries like hypersonics, space, and defense. Their C-103 alloy, known for its heat resistance, is critical for applications such as hypersonic missiles and space launch systems. By sending out samples for qualification, Amaero is engaging with major players in these sectors. Qualification is a rigorous process, but success could lead to long-term contracts and steady revenue streams. The addition of the second atomizer will significantly increase their ability to produce these high-value powders, ensuring they can meet growing demand efficiently.

Who might be testing these samples? Although Amaero hasn’t named specific companies, their partnership with Addman Group provides some clues. Addman, through subsidiaries like Castheon and Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing, collaborates with U.S. Department of Defense-funded labs and major defense contractors. It’s reasonable to speculate that companies like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, or Boeing—or even government agencies in the U.S., Australia, or the UK—could be evaluating Amaero’s powders. These are the kinds of clients that could drive significant demand if the samples pass muster.

This development is critical because it aligns with the U.S. push to reshore critical supply chains, particularly for defense and aerospace. Holland has emphasized the geopolitical need for domestic production, and Amaero’s Tennessee facility, now equipped with one advanced gas atomizer and a second due by June 2025, is designed to meet this need. If their powders pass qualification, Amaero could secure substantial orders. For instance, Addman has committed to purchasing 2.25 tonnes of C-103 over 2024-2025, with Amaero as their preferred supplier for five years. That’s just one client—imagine the potential if more join in.

The combination of sample distribution and the upcoming second atomizer marks Amaero’s transition from R&D to commercial production. Sending out samples shows confidence in their product, while the new atomizer, will give them the largest U.S. domestic production capacity for C-103 and titanium alloy powders. With additive manufacturing gaining traction, Amaero’s tailored powders position them as a leader in a niche but vital market. Successful qualifications and increased production could attract more investment and partnerships, especially as they aim for full-scale commercialization by 2026
