Genesis Research and Development Limited ("GEN")
De-listing of GEN

NZX Regulation ("NZXR") intends to exercise its discretion under NZSX Listing
Rule 5.4.2 and cancel the listing of GEN.  The last day that GEN will be
listed on the NZX Main Board will be Monday 12 August 2013.

NZX is exercising this discretion due to GEN's failure to comply with the
NZSX Listing Rules, and its inability to demonstrate a realistic possibility
that it will comply with the Listing Rules in the foreseeable future, and its
apparent cessation of business activities.
