China is effectively banning crypto, claiming it is the electricity and greenhouse cost. Apparently crypto mining in China uses more electricity than the country of Italy ! Taking their net zero 2050 seriously or just protecting traditional money markets ?
Either way they have doubled down on their earlier statement again today sending it crashing again. Papa Elon also smacked it down on environmental grounds and under a Biden administration.... how long till the USA follows suit?
