I keep hearing people say wow look all these shares traded and no impact on price.   I would strongly sugest you learn about black pool trading.   My guess is even single transaction of 1 M shares  are  black pool not open market.   Of course it is black so we do not know.   All trades have to be rep[orted to the exchange and show up.   they just do not become open orders on ASX or CHi X.

I read somwhere when looking at Chi X  after   the first trade to Credit Swiss that Chi X  black pool was larger than ASX but cannot find it now.
