Yes, I should have quantitated that. A Stop Loss is dependent on the size of the stock and your own personal risk aversion. A stop Loss can vary upwards from 10%. Personally I have found that 30% works best for small caps. All depends on individuals. If it is your only investment and a large one, it may be prudent to make the Stop Loss smaller.
