I am convinced this is playing out as a typical US mid-term election year. Read my post on that here.
The chart below shows where we are in that cycle (the vertical scale is %). There could be 2 selloffs soon. One before the reporting season and one after. Expect the May selloff to be brutal (6mth bear market), then 3 year bull market. (See links below)
